Norra Tornen are two modern skyscrapers currently under construction in the Helix and Innovationen neighborhoods at Torsplan in Vasastaden, Stockholm. As you know, we at Tunga Lyft are not afraid of heights, but this time we were needed on the ground floor…
At 125 and 110 meters, the two tall buildings will be Stockholm’s tallest residential buildings, containing 330 apartments and shops on the ground floors.
The buildings will be a landmark that marks a new era in how Stockholmers can live – with 360 degree panoramic views of the capital.
To hold up the balconies on the bottom floor, scaffolding towers have been used, but as the work has progressed, the surrounding area has become smaller, making the 7.5-ton scaffolding towers harder and harder to get out.
And when things get so heavy, crowded and complex, what do you do? You contact us at Tunga Lyft, of course, and at the end of the week we pull them out with winches.
