It’s not only planes that take off to about 100 different destinations from Landvetter, concrete elements and escalators also need to be lifted sometimes.
Both jobs had their challenges, as the 7-ton concrete elements had to be installed under a walkway. So it was a tight space and we had to think about it a bit more, but solved it with a crane truck and special equipment from Tunga Lyft.
Then it was time for new escalators to go up to the second floor, which required a hole in the wall and a mobile mezzanine to get the escalator in place. Work on the escalators is expected to be completed in week 25.
