We know what you’re thinking this November – solar panels don’t work in this country. But it does.
Solar cells powered this rather large apartment building in Malmö for several years, but now the building is to be demolished and therefore the panel and steel frame must be dismantled.
The steel frame weighed a total of 70 tons, but we divided it into three parts of 35, 25 and 10 tons, before lifting the parts down using two mobile cranes and a crane truck.
The challenge here is that you have to make the right connection from the start, because you don’t know where the center of gravity is. Otherwise, it risks tipping over during lift-off.
However, we managed it – of course – brilliantly.
