Valmet Corporation is the leading global developer and supplier of technology, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries. We at Tunga Lyft have once again been entrusted to participate in the planning. As well as manning and performing their lifting and rigging work.
Tunga Lyft has had a framework agreement with Valmet AB since 1997, and during that time it has involved everything from moving machines to rigging work and installations in various parts of the world.
It is now time for Ahlstrom-Munksjö Paper AB in Billingsfors to have its recovery boiler upgraded, including a new lower furnace.
Extraction of energy
Using air bearings and a truck-mounted crane, we precisely replaced parts of the soda boiler, whose main function is to recycle chemicals. The steam produced during the recycling chain is important for the pulp mill. It covers both the needs of the pulp mill and helps to produce electrical energy.
