We are escalator experts, almost everyone knows that. But that doesn’t mean that ordinary stairs are a problem.
A new Mio store is currently being built in the center of Linköping, with the aim of opening later this year, and when a heavy concrete staircase needed to be fixed in a confined space, we were happy to help.
The opening was so small that we had to thread the staircase in two parts, and then twist it into place so that the heels would land on the ground.
The two parts weighed 2.7 tons and 2.1 tons respectively and we got it in place using a beam and trolleys.
