Installation of escalators at Triangeln station

Last escalator in place! After 6 months of work with a 7-week break, we were able to finish the job with the flag flying. The 28 escalators and 4 conveyors are now in place in the Malmö City Tunnel.

The work with Thyssen Krupp has gone very well, the cooperation has been great between all parties, including Thyssen Krupp. MCG and NCC. A satisfied site manager Göran and MCG’s inspector looked at the last lift as the stairs were covered with mirrors all around, talk about a sensitive lift “as it can bring 7 years of accident if something goes wrong”…
