No lift is too complicated for Tunga Lyft. We were contacted by the Karolinska Hospital in Solna who needed to take out their pressure chamber, which weighs 900 kg, and was located on the fifth floor of the building.
Preparing for the lift is important. With careful planning and experienced workers, we were able to safely lift the heavy 900 kg pressure chamber from the fifth floor out the window. The pressure chamber was put on plinths beforehand to get a certain floor level so that we could lift the pressure chamber out of the window with a crane.
Before each lift, we carry out a step-by-step procedure for each project to avoid sudden events. Usually it is the planning and preparation that takes time. Once it was time to take off, it was quick and the lift itself only took a few minutes.
Working at high altitudes makes safety even more important. We want to provide a safe environment for our workers and the public. We do all types of machine lifts and examine the size and weight of the project to find the best equipment for each lift.
