Customer-oriented Project/Work Manager for Heavy Lifts
Tunga Lyft is currently located in Malmö, Linköping, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Karlstad and Luleå with about 75 employees. Turnover about 120 million per year. Tunga Lyft has focused on performing large heavy complex lifts both outdoors and indoors. Our clients range from large listed companies to smaller local businesses. Tunga Lyft works in all types of businesses and industries.
What does your working day as a Project/Work Manager look like?
You are responsible for ensuring the methodology and execution of major and minor assignments with Tunga Lyft’s customers. Furthermore, you are also responsible for the service and maintenance of equipment used in the projects or stationed at the depot where the post is located. The immediate supervisor is the Head of Major Projects.
This means that you will independently manage the projects and tasks assigned to you. You are responsible for staff and material planning and have a local health and safety responsibility in the projects you work on. Ongoing reporting and final reporting of project outcomes to the designated steering group.
Operations shall be managed according to Tunga Lyft’s established framework for Quality, Environmental and Work Environment Policy in the projects and that financial calculations are followed.
You are also responsible for continuously developing new knowledge in Lyft and work processes and training employees in this knowledge.
Packing and recovering materials is also an important step. You participate in the daily activities with so-called “taxi jobs” in cases where other parts do not occupy full time.
The position is both administrative and practical. The range of activities extends throughout Sweden and abroad, following the needs of our customers and requiring extensive travel.
The role of Project/Work Manager also includes:

- Work preparation, Risk analysis
- Ongoing project documentation
Desirable educational requirements:
- Project management training or equivalent
- Driving licenses BE, CE
- BAS U/BAS P training
- Documented industry experience
- Computer skills
Who likes it here?
We would like you to have theoretical and practical experience in production, engineering, planning and managing projects from heavy industry or contracting. You should also be responsible, analytical and a good problem solver with a financial understanding to follow up on projects and their results. Good computer skills, B driving license, Swedish and English in speech and writing are a requirement. You must be able to work at a fast pace with quick decisions, be flexible with working hours and be able to travel to wherever projects require. Be able to identify at an early stage the necessary improvements to enable a way of working to be carried out more safely.
You should be a driven and positively engaged person with social skills to lead groups and like to have many balls in the air.
